Welcome to a week long exhibition cum sale of 6 of my artworks.
From 31sh May to 6th June, 2013.
I am calling this PLAY as the experience of working on these paintings was literally that. It has brought back a lot of joy into my life to be able to find the time, mindspace and love to rediscover and explore colours, movement, moods, materials, surfaces, the feeling of abandon, acceptance, just to let things be. Most of them have been worked upon directly with the hand and other tools.

Bangloreans, and people passing through Bangalore are invited to drop in at my gallery like home to have a look at the actual works and pick what they like. Chai, Coffee, Lunch, or Dinner will be served by my Husband Vasudixit who I appoint as the curator/cook of this exhibition. :)

PS. The colourful at the background is a wall in my house, not to be mistaken for the artwork.
I enjoyed myself thoroughly while building this. It was over time and space. There are some lovely accidents on this. The big pink patch dripping down is actually thanks to a sudden shower when I was sitting on my terrace and working on this.

MARAPACHI DOLLS
Originally these are wooden dolls traditionally gifted to the daughter when she gets married. Before I had plastic dolls, these were my favourite dolls that I used to play with in Childhood.
